35-year old shooting guard Vince Carter is showing that he still has a little bit left in his gas tank.  Carter has played in 26 games (16 starts) for the Mavericks so far this year and he is averaging 24.1 minutes, 10.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game.  He is also shooting the ball well as he is hitting 45.4% from the floor, 45.5% from three point range and 79.6% from the free throw line so far this year.  The Mavericks will likely continue to watch Carters’ minutes to ensure that he keeps playing at a high level.
