The Mavericks were very happy to see a polished player like Shaun Foster fall to them in the 2nd round of the NBA Draft. Foster is 6′6″, 205 pounds and he’s a deadeye shooter from the outside hitting 42.1% of his three point attempts. Foster played in 132 games (122 starts) at Vanderbilt and he averaged 15.2 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game. He likely won’t get a lot of playing time on the veteran Mavericks team this season but he will in the future.
