The Mavericks played no defense last night as the Hornets shot 60.8% from the floor! Dirk Nowitzki had another solid game to lead the way for the Mavericks with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Brandon Bass was outstanding off the bench with 19 points and 8 rebounds in only 29 minutes. Jason Terry pitched in with 16 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists in 31 minutes off the bench. The Mavericks had the same problem as they did in game one as Josh Paul torched Jason Kidd for 32 points, 5 rebounds, 17 assists and 3 steals. The Mavericks are now down 2-0 to the Hornets in this series.
