The Nets have traded reserve guard/forward Antoine Wright to the Mavericks for a future 2nd round pick. Wright played in 41 games (10 starts) this season for the Nets and he was averaging 25.8 minutes, 7.3 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game. Wright has now played in 143 games (33 starts) in his NBA career and he has averaged 17.9 minutes, 4.6 points, 2.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. This was a good move for the Mavericks who needed depth after the larger trade with the Nets.

Jose Juan Barea only played 24 minutes last night but he still finished with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. The Mavericks are now 34-17 on the season.

The Mavericks really laid an egg on Sunday Night against the Nets as they only shot 36.5% from the floor. Dirk Nowitzki led the way for the Mavericks with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Josh Howard pitched in with 16 points and 4 rebounds. Brandon Bass had a solid game off of the bench with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in only 22 minutes on the court. The Mavericks are now 34-16 on the season.

The Mavericks dominated the first three quarters of this game 78-55 and then they cruised to victory in the 4th quarter. Dirk Nowitzki led the way for the Mavericks with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Devean George had a solid game off of the bench with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in only 22 minutes. Brandon Bass was also effective off the bench with 12 points and 4 rebounds in 25 minutes. The Mavericks are now 34-15 on the season.

The Mavericks outscored the Bucks 36-25 in the 4th quarter to prevail last night. Dirk Nowitzki recorded the first triple double of his NBA career as he finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists. Jason Terry pitched in with 23 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists off of the bench. Josh Howard also had a solid game with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 2 steals. The Mavericks are now 33-15 on the season.

The Mavericks shot 51.3% from the floor and they outrebounded the Magic 47-34 which were two big keys to victory. Josh Howard led the way for the Mavericks with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Dirk Nowitzki also had a solid game with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Jason Terry pitched in with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists. Brandon Bass was outstanding off of the bench with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals in only 21 minutes off of the bench. The Mavericks are now 32-15 on the season.

The Mavericks only shot 30.3% from the floor and that killed them yesterday in Detroit. Josh Howard only shot 6 of 17 from the floor and he finished with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki also had a rough shooting night (3 for 18) but he still finished up with 15 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists. Brandon Bass was solid off of the bench with 14 points and 6 rebounds. The Mavericks are now 31-15 on the season.

The Mavericks just didn’t have enough to beat the Celtics in Boston last night. Dirk Nowitzki was awesome as he finished up with 31 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocked shots. Josh Howard pitched in with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists. Jason Terry finished up with 13 points and 6 assists. The Mavericks are now 31-14 on the season.
